The St Louis Blues continue building their lineup for the next season, adding another new face in free agency.

The Blues announced Wednesday the signing of forward Pius Suter to a two-year deal worth $8.25 million. Suter appeared in all but one game last season for the Vancouver Canucks, recording 25 goals and 21 assists. The native of Switzerland has appeared in 364 NHL games, with previous stint in Chicago and Detroit.

Meanwhile, one former Blue has moved onto another Western Conference team. Defenseman Nick Leddy was claimed off waivers by the San Jose Sharks. He appeared in 31 regular season games last season for the Blues, recording two goals and three assists, and added another assist in the playoff series against Winnipeg. San Jose will mark the fifth stop in the 34-year-old’s career.
