Last Tuesday’s meeting of the Marshall City Council featured a pair of reports delivered at the request of new mayor Craig Thompson.

Chamber of Commerce director Rachel Hayworth and police chief Mike Donnell both addressed the council, providing updates from their respective offices. Thompson says he appreciated the reports from both.

Thompson says he plans to make reports from various city offices and agencies a regular feature at future council meetings.

Marshall Mayor Craig Thompson encourages citizens to attend city council meetings, which are regularly scheduled for the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the City Office Building. Meetings are also streamed on the City of Marshall’s YouTube channel.
