The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently searching for a suspect who was operating a stolen vehicle along Interstate-70 on Monday, July 7.

The Patrol says it received a report of a possible stolen vehicle traveling along eastbound I-70 before 11 a.m. at around Mile Marker 37.

MSHP began to pursue the vehicle, which continued down eastbound I-70. At around the 86 Mile Marker, the suspect began to flee on foot after abandoning the vehicle in the median. Authorities are continuing to search for the suspect, using support from the MSHP Aircraft Division to aid in the search.
