The Marshall-Saline Development Corporation is preparing for the launch of its new website in the coming months, hoping to provide more up to date information and features to aid in the development of Saline County.

The demo of the new website was presented to MSDC during its board meeting Tuesday, July 8. The site will not only have a new look and design, but also updated information and links to various resources for community members and developers. MSDC Executive Director Conner Swift says the new site will also have tools to help property owners list their properties for future developments.

Swift says he wanted to give board members time to review the new website and provide input on potential changes before it goes live to the public. Swift says he hopes to have the new site ready within the next month.

In other news, Swift said he met with the Missouri Department of Economic Development regarding Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) opportunities.

MSDC’s next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12.
