A project to resurface the parking lot has the Smith-Cotton High School campus closed Wednesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 10.
Sedalia School District 200 officials have announced that the high school campus will be inaccessible while the work takes place. Students are asked to check with their coaches and sponsors for any changes in plans for practices and workouts. The resurfacing project was approved by the district’s board of education in May. Capital Paving is completing the work at a price tag of $448,000.
Sedalia Schools also announced that their district’s next school board meeting will now take place Tuesday, July 29 at the Heckart Performing Arts Center at Smith-Cotton High School.
