The University of Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team will have the Florida sun to go along with their Thanksgiving turkey, as the team announced plans to compete in a second tournament in the Sunshine State this November.

Mizzou announced Wednesday, July 9 that the Tigers will take part in the Shell Division of the fourth annual Fort Myers Tip-Off, scheduled for Nov. 28 and 29. Also in this division are Abilene Christian, Bradley, and Northwestern; the Tigers will face two of these opponents. Also joining them in Fort Myers are Georgia and Kansas, though the two rivals will compete in a different division.

Mizzou’s participation in the Tip-Off will follow their appearance in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association showcase at the Walt Disney World Resort on Nov. 23, where the Tigers will take on Washington State.
