Several members of the Salisbury Junior High FCCLA Chapter recently competed at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida on July 5-9.

Luke Britt and Brylee Wallace represented Salisbury at the conference, which welcomed thousands of students from across the nation for a week of competition, leadership development, and career exploration. They were accompanied by their adviser, Lindsay Ostermann.

Britt represented Missouri in the Job Interview event, earning a gold medal, and being named the National winner. Wallace represented Missouri in the Career Investigation event and earning a bronze medal.

The National Leadership Conference brought together thousands of student leaders from across the country to compete in Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) Events, attend leadership workshops, and network with other FCCLA members.
