The council will also welcome Carter Fawkes as the newest council member for the fourth ward. The council will meet at 6 p.m. at the City Office Building, with plans to go into executive session afterward to discuss a potential real estate transaction.
The Slater City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mayor Terry Jordan is expected to provide an update on a new business on Main Street, along with repairs to the city building, and procedures for dealing with dogs at large. The council will then consider a health care group grant, as well as a fence grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
