
Earl Alvin “Butch” Harry, 72, of rural Slater, MO, died Monday, July 14, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Pastor Ron Richie officiating. Burial will follow in the New Frankfort Cemetery in rural Slater. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2025, at the funeral home. Born March 24, 1953, in Iowa, he was the son of the late Russell Harry and Doris Mae Brimmer Harry. He lived in the rural Slater area for nearly 40 years and worked at Conagra in Marshall. Butch was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle as well as coin hunting and going to auctions with his cousin Sylvia. One of the most loved things for him though, was just simply spending time with his family.
Survivors include three sons: Steven Richardson of Kansas City, MO, Harley Harry (Jennifer) of Marshall and Joey Harry (Stacy) of Slater; two grandchildren, Jacob and Hailey Harry; one brother, Pete Harry of Pembroke, KY; one sister, Linda McIntyre of Marshall; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by one brother, Delbert Harry; and one sister, Shirley Ann King.
