
A father and son from Tipton were injured after their pickup truck went off a Moniteau County roadway Saturday, July 19.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 26-year-old man was driving his pickup south on Snorgrass Road at around 4:30 p.m. According to troopers, when the pickup was south of the intersection with Koerkenmeier Road, the truck went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. The driver suffered moderate injuries, while his three-year-old son sustained minor injuries. The two were taken to a Jefferson City hospital. Troopers report that the driver was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
