The Pettis County R-V School District Board of Education approved several items relating to the 2025-2026 school year during its meeting on Wednesday, July 16.
Superintendent Dr. Amy Fagg says the board approved a ten cent increase in the breakfast and lunch prices for 2025-2026, which is based on a recommendation from the Paid Lunch Equity Tool. High School breakfast was set at $2.20, High School lunch at $2.85, Elementary breakfast at $1.95, and Elementary lunch at $2.75.
The board also set the district’s tuition rate at $11,000 for the upcoming school year.
In other news, the board reviewed bids for fuel, milk, and bread services. The board accepted the fuel bid from MFA Oil, and the bread and milk bids were awarded to SGC Foodservice.
The final action the board took was to set the date for the district’s Tax Rate Hearing. The hearing will be held at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 20.
