William “Bill” Rolla Fisher, 85, of Slater, MO, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Pastor Ramona Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorial contributions may be made to Slater Assembly of God Church. Born on December 3,1939, in Gilliam, MO, Bill was the son of the late William Alfred Fisher and Thelma Vondell (Buck) Fisher. He graduated from Slater High School, and on October 1, 1959, he married Billy Sue Green who preceded him in death on August 20,1999. He worked for the Slater Police Department for 12 years and worked 30 plus years for the Marshall Post Office as a mail carrier and then a clerk. Bill fostered many children for over 30 years. He was a lay minister and did jail ministry for many years. Bill was a member of the Slater Assembly of God Church where he loved to worship.

Survivors include three sons: Randy Fisher (Julie) of Carrollton, MO, Jessie Fisher (Robin) of rural Marshall, and Bobby Fisher (Cindy) of Slater; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Billy Sue Fisher; one daughter, Rebecca J. (Becky) Fisher; one granddaughter, Hailee Norman; one great-granddaughter, Braylee Anna Fisher; and one brother, Dale Wayne Fisher.
