A Holden teen was among two people injured in a crash just off Interstate 70 on Monday, July 28 in Grain Valley.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 17-year-old driver was heading south on Route BB, when at around 12:20 p.m., she struck the passenger side of a pickup as it was turning onto westbound I-70. The truck’s driver, a 75-year-old man from Grain Valley, sustained moderate injury, while the Holden teen experienced minor injury. Both were taken to a Kansas City area hospital.
