An Illinois man has been charged for a murder reported in the City of Moberly in February 2025.

Moberly Police responded to an incident at a residence on North Moulton Street at 6:55 a.m. Saturday, February 1, where authorities discovered Donald Hickem deceased with gunshot wounds. Investigators identified 37-year-old Timothy Turner as the primary suspect in the homicide, but he was shot and killed in a standoff with Columbia Police later that same day.

An additional suspect was identified by witnesses during the investigation, with the Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney filing formal charges against 38-year-old Todd Turner on Tuesday, July 22. Todd Turner was arrested in Cahokia Heights, Illinois on July 29.

Turner has been charged with first degree murder with no bond allowed. He is currently being held in St. Clair County Jail in Illinois, awaiting extradition to Missouri.
