Two area city councils are scheduled to meet on Tuesday, August 5.

The meeting of the Marshall City Council gets underway at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of the City Office Building, located at 214 North Lafayette Avenue. The council plans to execute a task order with Engineering Surveys and Services for survey and easement preparation services for FEMA stormwater upgrades. The council will also consider an appointment to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

The Slater City Council will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall, located at 232 Main Street.
