Temporary traffic signals will go up at a bridge outside Brunswick this week to handle traffic flow during a maintenance project.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will reduce traffic for U.S. Route 24 over the Grand River to one lane beginning Monday, Aug. 4. The lane restriction will be in place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with temporary traffic signals in place. Elsewhere in Chariton County, pothole patching will take place along Route 11. Pavement repairs are continuing along U.S. Route 36 through Linn and Livingston counties this week in two-mile stretches, with a 12-foot width restriction in place.

Pavement repairs are also scheduled along Interstate 70 in Cooper County until Wednesday at mile marker 111. The eastbound driving lane will close from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. In northern Boone County, culvert replacements are planned for Route V outside Sturgeon on Monday and Tuesday, followed by Route 124 beginning Wednesday. One lane will remain open during both projects.
