Stella Marie Lear, 76, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Friday, August 8, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August, 15, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born November 2, 1948, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. Cochran and Mary K. Heilman Cochran.  Stella lived in Missouri most of her life and was a 1966 graduate of Sweet Springs R-7 High School.  She worked at Enersys in Warrensburg for 23 years and was an Avon Representative for 35 years.  Stella had been a member of the Saddle Club, enjoyed golfing, bowling, and bingo.

Survivors include three children: Eddie Nelson (April) of Warrensburg, Lindsay Dooley of Blackburn and Justin Truelove (Crystal) of Higginsville; 13 grandchildren: Stacia, Dakota, Zack, Derrick, Mariah, Madison, Caleb, Frankie, Jonathon, Briana, Damein, Kelsea and Wyatt; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rita Jones of Texas; many bonus kids and grandkids; as well as nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members.
