A low-water crossing northwest of La Monte remains subject to closures for at least another week.

The Pettis County Road and Bridge Department has announced that the crossing for Patrick Road between West Prairie Grove and East Prairie Grove roads is still in need of maintenance until at least Aug. 25. The maintenance will result in unannounced closures of the road when crews are present. The department advises motorists to find an alternate route for the time being, watch for work zone signs, and to not drive around barricades.
