Friday, Aug. 22, 2025 is the last day for real estate property owners delinquent on their taxes to settle with their county collector’s office before their property goes under the hammer.

Property owners who owe taxes for 2023 and 2024 have until 4:30 p.m. Friday to pay their delinquent tax bills in order to have them taken off the sale list. As of Monday morning, 39 properties remain listed for sale in Saline County, including one parcel on its third offering.

Friday at 4:30 p.m. is also the deadline for prospective buyers to register for the sale at their county collector’s office. Each county’s sale is handled by the collector and begins at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2025. Winning bidders must pay for their purchases in the form of cashier’s check, money order, or cash by 4 p.m. that afternoon.
