The Moberly School District Board of Education approved a cooperative agreement with the Renick School District for all junior high MSHSAA activities.

The agreement was approved during the board’s meeting on Tuesday, August 12. Superintendent Cristina Wright says the agreement allows Renick’s students to participate in all Moberly athletics.

The board also voted to partner with Moberly Parks and Recreation on an attendance incentive for students. Wright says the district is offering a reward for students who achieve an attendance record of at least 90 percent.

The Board of Education is holding a hearing at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 26 to set the district’s tax rate. Wright says the proposed rate is $4.91, which includes $3.77 for the Incidental Fund and $1.14 for Debt Service.
