The City of Sedalia is beginning work on the Prairie Hollow water and sewer main project on Monday, August 25.
This phase of the project will take place in the area of Cambridge Drive, Knottingham Drive, and Artisan Drive. Crews will be installing new water and sewer lines. Work in this area is expected to last three to four weeks before the contractor progresses further west.
Excavation work will be located outside of the roadway, with boring taking place under the street. Road closures are not anticipated. However, drivers should expect heavy equipment in the area and possible congestion, particularly along Knottingham Drive when work moves into that section.
No interruptions in water or sewer service are expected during this project.
