A Higbee woman was injured in a head-on collision on a Randolph County roadway Friday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on County Road 2445, seven miles outside of Huntsville, when a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Higbee woman struck a pickup driven by a 16-year-old Moberly juvenile head-on.

The Higbee driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a Moberly hospital for treatment. No injuries were reported for the other driver. Troopers report the Higbee woman was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.

The accident occurred at 3:35 p.m. in Randolph County.
