The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports three people were seriously injured after Sunday’s one-vehicle crash in northern Morgan County.

A corrected report issued Monday morning by the patrol says the car that crashed on Route D south of Syracuse around 9:40 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 had three people in the vehicle. According to the patrol, a 32-year-old woman from Sedalia was driving south on Route D near Route JJ when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and overturned. The driver and a 31-year-old male passenger in the back seat, also from Sedalia, had not been wearing their seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle. A passenger in the front seat, a 28-year-old woman from Blue Springs, was trapped in vehicle and was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. The three were all taken to a Columbia hospital.
