The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing the left lane on eastbound and westbound U.S. Highway 50 between the Johnson County Routes W and Z intersection and County Road 1501 from Tuesday, September 2 through Monday, October 27.

Crews will be constructing intersection improvements, including the addition of J-turns and removal of median crossovers. The project is scheduled to be completed in December. 2025. More information about the project can be found on the project webpage.
