An Armstrong resident, 95-year-old Myrtle Louise Sanders, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at The Lodge in Fayette.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Joseph) Mane of Plant City, Fla., and Judy West of Madrid, Iowa; two sons, Geoffrey (Sandy) Sanders of Armstrong and Steve (Barbara) Sanders of Hinckley, Ill., and one brother, Ken (Margaret) Adsett of Victoria, British Columbia.  Myrtle is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral will take place 11 a.m, Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at the Salem Lutheran Church in Salisbury, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation at the church will begin at 10 a.m.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service in Glasgow.
