Both drivers in a collision north of Warsaw were taken to area hospitals Sunday, Aug. 24, including one who incurred serious injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the collision occurred on Route T west of Quail Run Road around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old man from Lowry City crossed into the westbound lane and struck a pickup driven by a 57-year-old Warsaw man. The Lowry City man sustained serious injuries and was flown to a Columbia hospital. The Warsaw driver had minor injuries and was taken to a Clinton hospital for treatment.
