A two-vehicle crash just south of Downtown Moberly on Tuesday, Aug. 26 sent a Moberly woman to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 28-year-old driver was heading south on South Williams just after 10 p.m., when her vehicle was struck by an SUV driven by a 24-year-old man from Higbee, as it was turning left from the northbound lane onto Wightman Street. She was taken to a Columbia hospital with serious injuries. No injuries were reported for the Higbee driver.
