A 28-year-old Leeton man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route T on Sunday, August 31.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a 2006 Peterbilt 335 began to travel off of the roadway, near Kinkead Lane at 1:50 p.m. The vehicle returned to the roadway, overcorrected, and then struck and embankment before overturning.

The driver had moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. Troopers report the driver was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
