A Windsor man was among two men reported injured after their boats collided on the Grand River Arm of Truman Lake on Monday, Sept. 1.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 47-year-old man was steering his boat northwest on the lake near the Long Shoal Bridge west of Warsaw, when at around 9:25 a.m., the front bow of his boat struck the front bow of a boat driven by a 64-year-old man from Trimble. The Trimble boater suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Kansas City area hospital, while the Windsor boater received minor injuries and sought his own treatment.
