The Town of Carrollton will host a parade next month recognizing Kiwanis Day.

The town council approved a request Tuesday, Sept. 2 from the local Kiwanis Club to host its annual kids parade the morning of Oct. 25. Mayor Keith Higgins says the parade will take place around the Carrollton Town Square and begin at 10 a.m.

The parade request was the only item on the town council’s agenda. Higgins notes that during his report to the council, he provided an update on a project to improve sidewalks around Walnut Hills Park, as well as painting around City Hall.

The Carrollton Town Council will next meet Monday, Sept. 15.
