Both the Missouri Valley College Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams made appearances in the most recent NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Polls, which were released Wednesday.
The women’s program rose three spots, coming in ranked No. 9 after going 1-0-1 during the latest ratings period. This included a 2-2 tie against No. 5 Cumberlands (Ky.) and a 1-0 win against No. 15 Oklahoma Wesleyan. The 1-1 tie against No. 23 Columbia (Mo.), Tuesday evening, did not factor into the coaches’ poll. This ranking is the highest for Missouri Valley during Head Coach Drew Hawkins’ 18 seasons leading the program.

The Vikings went 1-1-1 during the latest ratings period, which included a 2-1 win over Morningside (Iowa), a 4-4 tie against Rocky Mountain (Iowa) and a 2-1 defeat to Columbia (Mo.).
