The City of Sedalia recognized two women for springing into action to rescue a resident from her burning car after a crash along a Johnson County highway in July.
Darci Curtis and Senior Airman Jada McMillan were commuting home from Whiteman AFB the afternoon of July 7, when came across a crash scene on Route D around 4:45 p.m. Curtis described the incident as it unfolded in front of her.
McMillan was right behind Curtis and also jumped into action.
