A two-vehicle collision at a Warrensburg intersection Wednesday, Sept. 3 resulted in injuries to three area residents.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash at the junction of eastbound U.S. Route 50 and Business Route 13 around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. Troopers say that a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Warrensburg man was heading south when it struck the eastbound SUV driven by a 45-year-old woman from Knob Noster. The Warrensburg man and an 18-year-old woman in his car suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. The Knob Noster woman also received moderate injuries but sought her own medical treatment. All three injured people were wearing their seat belts, according to the patrol’s report.
