A Braymer woman suffered serious injuries after her vehicle ran past an intersection west of the city Saturday, Sept. 6.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 27-year-old woman was driving her SUV south on Sunnyvale Road, about four miles west of Braymer, when at around 2:15 a.m., she crossed the T-intersection with Tobin Valley Road and went down an embankment. Her SUV then struck the ground and some trees. She was taken to a Chillicothe hospital. It’s not known if she was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
