The Sedalia Public Works Department will continue its project of milling and paving E. 16th Street through the city Monday, Sept. 8.

Crews will work this week from S. New York Avenue east to S. Madison Avenue, daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes and use caution in the area.

The city adds that Crown Hill Cemetery remains closed Monday for repairs to the road surface that had been reportedly vandalized last week following a repaving project there.
