The City of Sedalia has postponed asphalt paving work on 16th Street to next week.

The city announced that milling on the roadway from South New York Avenue to South Madison Avenue is complete, but the asphalt paving work will now take place next week beginning on Monday, September 15, and continuing through Friday, September 19. The work will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day Temporary lane closures will be in effect.

The city also announced that Crown Hill Cemetery is closed today (Wednesday) for macropaving repairs to roadways that were damaged by recen vandalism.
