The Carrollton R-VII School Board of Education spent a significant portion of Tuesday evening’s meeting reviewing items that need addressed for each of the district’s facilities, ahead of the district’s push for voters to renew their levy rate next April.

Supt. Dr Tinna Croy tells KMMO News that the bulk of Tuesday’s school board meeting focused on the latest findings from architects Incite Design, who are in the process of developing a long-range facilities plan for the district.

Croy says two committees will review the information from Incite to identify the district’s facility priorities.

Also at Tuesday night’s meeting, the Carrollton school board approved fundraiser events for SkillsUSA, HOSA-Future Health Professionals, and the wrestling program. The board also received a report from the district’s counseling department and reviewed the latest slate of policy revisions.
