The Concordia R-2 Board of Education approved a quote for renovations and additions to its Elementary Playground during its meeting on Wednesday, September 10.

This project was included in the district’s bond issue passed in April 2024. Superintendent Theresa Christian describes some of the work that will take place on the playground.

The board accepted the quote from Athco in the amount of $268,338.

The board also held a discussion regarding facility goals for the next ten years.

Board members also approved a copier and printer lease agreement with SumnerOne for 66 months.

The Board of Education’s next meeting is set for Wednesday, October 8.
