The Missouri State High School Activities Association has released the district assignments for this fall’s Cross Country teams.
Defending Class Two Girls Champions Lexington will run in the District Four meet, with ten area teams among their competitors. Course locations are to be determined, with each district in Class Two sharing a course with their counterpart in Class Three. A similar arrangement is also expected between districts in Classes Four and Five, while Class One will have their district courses to themselves.
The Cross County state meet is set for Nov. 7-8 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, where Lexington’s Addison Smith won the Class Two individual title last year with a time of 19:15. Chael Lichte won last year’s Class Two boys race for Lexington with a time of 16:31.
