
A Moberly employer has announced plans to add 50 jobs.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development announced Wednesday that Damotech will expand its manufacturing operations in Moberly, committing to an investment of more than $2.4 million. Moberly Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey welcomed the announced investment in a business with a lengthy presence in the city.
The Canadian firm acquired Mac Rak in 2023, which has built its pallet rack repair and protection products in Moberly for several years. A news release from state economic development officials says that the expansion will improve logistics to allow faster order fulfillment, while prioritizing employee safety and efficiency by providing better equipment and tools.
Damotech will make use of the Missouri Works program, allowing them to expand and retain workers by providing access to capital with withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
