The City of Moberly celebrated the opening of its first new park in several decades after the new Kiwanis Park was unveiled on Wednesday, September 10.

Kiwanis Park, located at 911 Sinnock Avenue, provides a park to the northeast quadrant of Moberly in addition to serving as a regional asset for inclusive play in Missouri. Moberly Parks and Recreation Director Troy Bock credits Moberly’s community partners for their funding and support throughout the project.

 

Bock says he hopes the park will bring value to the area and bring in interest for further development.

 

The project was funded with grants from the Land and Water Conservation Fund, as well as numerous community donors.
