A Columbia man was treated for moderate injuries after his pickup crashed Saturday, Sept. 13 north of Knob Noster.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 28-year-old was driving south on Route 23 around 5:40 p.m., when prior to the intersection with Northeast 700th Road, his pickup crossed the center of the roadway and started skidding. The truck then went off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting the driver. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Troopers note that he had not been wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
