A Green Ridge man sustained moderate injuries after crashing his motorcycle on a Pettis County roadway on Friday, September 19.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a motorcycle operated by the 45-year-old man from Green Ridge failed to negotiate a curve on Missouri 127, traveling off the right side of the road and overturning.

The driver was dealt moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. Troopers report the driver was wearing the proper safety equipment at the time of the accident.

The accident was reported at 5:06 p.m. in Pettis County.
