The Marshall Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 65 in Marshall Monday afternoon.

Saline County 911 received a call regarding an accident on the highway near Fairgrounds Road at 1:23 p.m. Marshall Police, the Marshall Fire Department, and Saline County Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers learned that the accident was caused when a silver Ford Focus crossed the center line and struck a blue Chevrolet Malibu.

Both drivers were injured in the accident, with one being life-flighted to another hospital for treatment.
