Rainy conditions are believed to have contributed to a crash east of Stover that injured an area woman Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the one-vehicle crash around 1:15 p.m. on Route 52 just west of Bridge Lane, about a mile east of Stover. Troopers say that a 59-year-old Stover woman was driving her sedan east on the roadway, when the vehicle hydroplaned, went off the left side of the roadway, and overturned. Her 61-year-old passenger, also from Stover, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a Columbia hospital, while the driver had no reported injuries.
