
Joy Little, 92, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born July 5, 1933, in Crab Orchard, NE, she was the daughter of the late Cleve Winton Little and Grace Mabel Sheik Little. Joy had lived in Marshall since 1940 and was a 1950 graduate of Marshall High School. She worked as an accounting supervisor for 43 years at Con-Agra, as well as working for the Marshall Chamber of Commerce and Saline County Probate Court. Joy was a very active member of the community including being a founding member of the Coterie Club, founding member of Happy Adult Singles, and a former member of the Saline County Historical Society. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was involved in numerous aspects of the church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by three sisters, Georgene Carmen Carpenter, Grace Marlyn Duffer and Marjorie Ann Joyce.
