
Dale Alan Dierker Sr., 74, of rural Sweet Springs, MO, died Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services with military rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Sweet Springs with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. Born January 26, 1951, in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late Lester Ernst Dierker and Frances Edith Elsner Dierker. Dale lived in the Sweet Springs area most of his life where he graduated from Sweet Springs High School in 1969, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. In December of 1969, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Thailand and Korea and honorably discharged on December 10, 1976, having attained the rank of Staff Seargent. On July 21, 1972, he married Pamela Ann Ryant who preceded him in death on January 21, 2023. Following his discharge, Dale attended State Fair Community College and then Central Missouri State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Ag Business. His career was spent at Hayes Wheels in Sedalia where he was a fork lift operator for over 25 years. Dale enjoyed farming, cattle sales and water fights with the grandkids.
Survivors include one son, Dale Dierker Jr. (Victoria) of Blackburn; one daughter, Kristina Dierker Graf (Scott) of rural Sweet Springs; five grandchildren: Jeffery Dierker (Sloane), Mackynze Rosas (Juan), Noah Dierker (Jolynda), Gage Driver and Rebekah Shearer (Brandon); one great-grandchild, Weslen Shearer; many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Dierker of Sweet Springs; and two nephews.
