
An Eldon man is facing several felony charges after Pettis County Deputies investigated a reported assault on Friday, September 26.
Deputies made contact with the reporting party and victim, who claimed that Tyler McCue struck him in the head with a metal bar and needed medical treatment at an area hospital to keep the laceration closed. The victim stated he was spending time with McCue’s girlfriend, who left the scene with McCue after the altercation.
The victim also noted that McCue ran into his vehicle with his own vehicle before leaving the scene and caused damage to the rear driver side door. Deputies observed the damage to the victim’s vehicle and estimated the damage to cost between $3,000 and $5,000.
Law enforcement made contact with McCue over the phone, who denied the striking the victim.
McCue is facing felony charges for burglary in the first degree, assault in the second degree, armed criminal action, property damage, and leaving the scene of an accident. A warrant has been issued for McCue’s arrest effective Tuesday, September 30.
