Mary K. Hogan, 95, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.  Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born November 17, 1929, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Henry F. Stedem and Rosina Kruse Stedem.  Mary was raised in Marshall and was a graduate of Mercy Academy.  On June 9, 1949, she married James S. Hogan who preceded her in death on August 19, 2001.  She had worked at various businesses through the years as well as being a homemaker.  She returned to Marshall in 2012 and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.  Mary’s family was her top priority and she will be remembered as the one who took care of everybody.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Vickie Hogan of Liberty; three grandchildren: Gary Rittermeyer (Pegah) of Leawood, KS, Lauren Ford (Joshua) of Kansas City and Michael Hogan (Brittany) of Belton; many great-grandchildren; four siblings: Bill Stedem (Louise) of Lee’s Summit, Margie Riggins (Floyd) of Marshall, Donna Henning of Marshall and Sherry Sullivant of Shawnee Mission, KS; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Stedem of Marshall; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one son, James S. Hogan II and four siblings: Betty Stedem, Eddie Stedem, Jim Stedem and Fran Durnil (Bob), and two brothers-in-law, Pat Sullivant and Charles T. Henning.
