The Johnson County Commission accepted a change order request Monday, Oct. 6 as part of the project to rehabilitate Business Route 13 outside Warrensburg.

Western District Commissioner Charles Kavanaugh tells KMMO News that the change order comes out to about $60,000.

Commissioners also considered repairs to the HVAC system at the county’s Justice Center. Kavanaugh says one of the units went down late last week.

Kavanaugh says the unit handles the air conditioning for the halls and entryway. Repairs should take place within the next five to six weeks.

Also Monday morning, the Johnson County Commission received updates from Warrensburg Main Street and the county’s Emergency Management Agency. Commissioners also presented a proclamation for National 4-H Week at Crest Ridge Elementary School.
